Ishikari Bay New Port Offshore Wind Power Plant Designated as Navigation Aid Monitoring Partner by Otaru Coast Guard Office

On January 22, the Ishikari Bay New Port Offshore Wind Power Plant was presented with a letter of appointment by the Otaru Coast Guard Office, designating the plant as a navigation aid monitoring partner.

Navigation aid monitoring partners are voluntary organizations that assist in maintaining the safety of sea routes. They monitor lighthouses and other navigation aids and notify the Japan Coast Guard in the event of an emergency.

The Ishikari Bay New Port Offshore Wind Power Plant will continue to play an active role in protecting the safety of the local sea.
