◼️ Green Power Fukaura Wind Power Plant
Fukaura Town, Nishitsugaru District, Aomori Prefecture

In this project, we installed approximately 19 wind turbines on a hillside in Fukaura Town, located on the Sea of Japan side of Aomori Prefecture.

This region experiences severe weather conditions, with westerly winds blowing from the Sea of Japan in winter and easterly winds blowing down from the mountains in summer. Capitalizing on the locate climate conditions, and with the support of the local people, we developed this plant using primarily privately-owned mountainous and forest land.

We are a member of the Council for Revitalization of Rural Areas through Renewable Energy, organized in Fukaura Town. We make effective use of the mountainous location of the facility, and we work with the Fukaura municipal government and those engaged in forestry to promote the town’s forestry industry.

This project involves the installation of a large-scale offshore wind power plant in a roughly 500-hectare area within the Ishikari Bay New Port zone, spanning Ishikari City and Otaru City in Hokkaido.

To undertake this project, we participated in a tender for an offshore wind power project conducted by the Ishikari Bay New Port Management Association, and we were successfully selected as a prospective project operator. Through the project, we ensure co-existence and co-prosperity with the fishing industry and are engaged in research and development into various applications of locally-generated energy.

Located in the Ishikari region, which is gaining attention as Hokkaido’s energy hub, this is an unprecedented offshore wind power plant.

This project involves the installation of a large-scale offshore wind power plant in a roughly 500-hectare area within the Ishikari Bay New Port zone, spanning Ishikari City and Otaru City in Hokkaido.

◼️ Green Power Sumita Tono Wind Power Plant
Tono City and Sumita Town, Iwate Prefecture

This area has abundant natural resources with deep mountains and clear rivers and vibrant agriculture. The area is also characterized by places of worship, including Ganryu Shrine, and many historical buildings and sites, as well as its close association with works of literature, such as Kaze no Matasaburo and Tono Monogatari.

This area has abundant natural resources with deep mountains and clear rivers and vibrant agriculture. The area is also characterized by places of worship, including Ganryu Shrine, and many historical buildings and sites, as well as its close association with works of literature, such as Kaze no Matasaburo and Tono Monogatari.

Tsugaru City, Aomori Prefecture

This power plant is one of the largest wind power plants in Japan, located along the Sea of Japan on the Tsugaru Peninsula.

The Tsugaru Plain is renowned for rice growing, and most of the project site is used for growing crops. Tsugaru City, Aomori Prefecture

This power plant is one of the largest wind power plants in Japan, located along the Sea of Japan on the Tsugaru Peninsula.

The Tsugaru Plain is renowned for rice growing, and most of the project site is used for growing crops. Otsuki Town, Hata District, Kochi Prefecture

The Otsuki Wind Farm is located in Otsuki Town, which is situated at the southwestern tip of Kochi Prefecture. There are 12 wind turbines installed on the ridgeline of Mt. Mukuri, which has an elevation of 200m to 250m.

The Ohorayama Wind Farm is the second power plant built in Otsuki Town, with 11 wind turbines installed on the ridgeline of mountainous terrain, including Mt. Ohora, at an elevation of 300m to 450m.

The Otsuki Wind Farm is located in Otsuki Town, which is situated at the southwestern tip of Kochi Prefecture. There are 12 wind turbines installed on the ridgeline of Mt. Mukuri, which has an elevation of 200m to 250m.

Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture

This power plant is located next to the Futtsu Central Interchange on the Tateyama Expressway, in the center of Futtsu City, and is visible from the expressway.

The power plant, which is one of the largest solar power plants in the Kanto region, was built on a gravel pit that had long been a matter of concern for the local authorities. We offer plant tours for government agencies, academics, researchers, graduate students, among others, to gain insights into large-scale solar power generation.

This solar power plant is located in Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture, surrounded by the Sea of Japan and the Chugoku Mountains.

It occupies a 9-hole section of the 27-hole golf course in the Kanagi Country Club. We contribute part of our revenue from this project to the corporate hometown tax donation program (furusato nozei) to support the local forestry industry.

In this project, we will install approximately 27 wind turbines along the ridgelines of Ninohe City and Hachimantai City, Iwate Prefecture, and Takko Town, Sannohe District, Aomori Prefecture. The site is used for forestry in national forests, as well as for ranching.

The project aims to promote sustainable development in harmony with the natural environment and co-existence with primary industries, such as agriculture and forestry, while making maximum use of wind as a local resource.

Yokohama Town, Higashidori Village, and Rokkasho Village, Aomori Prefecture

In this project, we will install approximately 26 wind turbines stretching from north to south in a mountainous forested region spanning Yokohama Town, Higashidori Village, and Rokkasho Village in Aomori Prefecture.

We will generate electricity by harnessing westerly winds blowing from the Mutsu Bay in winter and easterly winds from the Pacific Ocean in summer, making use of the region’s challenging but seasonally distinctive natural conditions.

We are dedicated to expanding the use of renewable energy and contributing to local revitalization in the communities around the project site.
