The Hamada Wind Facility runs across a mountain ridge in southwestern Japan, in Shimane Prefecture. The wind facility exemplifies our current insights in generating renewable energy from the ground up.
The facility reached commercial operation in June 2016, and sells 100% of its electrical output under a feed-in-tariff (FiT) secured power purchase agreement (PPA) to the utility Chugoku Electric Power Co.
